The Walking Group 2008
Wednesday and/or Saturday
Everyone is Welcome

The next Wednesday Walking Group will meet on 16th July 2008 at Enfield Chase railway station for the 10.09am train and the underground to Great Portland Street.
The 5-6 mile walk will be through Regent's Park and Primrose Hill to Camden Lock, where lunch can be purchased or (a picnic can be eaten at Cumberland Basin, if preferred). We continue with a waterbus trip from Camden Lock to Little Venice. Cost £6.50 Adults, £5.00 Concessions. (Or, the energetic can walk the three miles to Little Venice). We then explore the Paddington Basin end of the Grand Union Canal, before catching the underground and train for home.

The next Saturday Walking Group will meet on 26th July 2008 at Enfield Chase railway station for the 9.59am train and the underground to Great Portland Street.
The 5-6 mile walk will be the same as the previous week's Wednesday walk.

The next Short Walk will be on 6th July 2008. We will meet at the Emmanuel Centre to depart at 2.15pm by car.The 3.3 mile walk will cover Shenley Park, a former mental hospital and the original village of Shenley. Please let Philip know if you intend to come, for transport purposes.
