Do you think other peoples’ life experiences are interesting and informative?
In the ERS recently we have heard from different Christian people with varied interests to whom we are grateful for giving their time, and opening our eyes to what God is doing today both locally and worldwide.

On the second Wednesday of each month some fifty older folk meet at the Emmanuel Centre for a time of fellowship, fun and an interesting afternoon. Although we officially start at 2.30pm many come early to have a chat with their friends. After a brief introduction our speaker takes over. There is a break for tea and coffee before finishing by 4.00pm.

Each year we have an annual full day outing and in between times we have a number of mini outings. Once a month there is a short walk incorporating places of interest or local parklands.

Our aim is to run a good wholesome afternoon where church folk and others can find a friendly welcome and learn about the Lord Jesus in a relaxed atmosphere. The door to ERS is open to anyone who wants to come, ie you, your neighbours and friends.
